Match Programme Explanations

1. On each line of the program is the date, draw time, match time, the type of match or who has booked the water, the venue and legend.
   1. The date is self-explanatory
   2. The draw time is the time by which anglers fishing the match need to be there, before a peg is drawn for them by the match organiser. No Pools are to be organised.
   3. The fish period is the start and stop time of the match; pegs will still be occupied for up to an hour after the stop time to allow anglers to weigh-in and to pack their tackle
   4. The match details tell you whether it is an Association match or a water booking by another There are no Open matches.
   5. The venue details refer to where that match is being
   6. The Legend gives you further details of that match g. who to book in with, whether it is available to all-comers or members. The legend should always be read as it can clear up most queries as to what is happening on that venue.
2. Most Association matches/water bookings only take up a part of the water and the notice boards by Southwick Lake Green Gates or the signing-in book on the gate at HMS Sultan provide details of which pegs are being used for that match.
3. All match pegs are closed to all anglers four hours before the start time. Once the match is underway pleasure anglers are not to take up empty pegs on the match length.
4. Anglers not reading the match program and not checking the notice boards are not only causing embarrassment to Association officials running the matches but also giving an unfair advantage to the angler that draws that peg in a match
5. This program is subject to change, and it is recommended, if printed out, that the current version on the Association website (http://www.portsmouthrnandrmcaa.org.uk) is checked for any
6. The Association’s rules for both matches and the award of trophies are detailed in the

membership book.

7. Match organisers are responsible for passing all results, with a report, to the Trophy Rep and Records Keeper no later than 14 days after the match so that they can be published on the website, and records maintained for award of trophies.

   1. Winter Pike League – Best 3 results from 5 matches
   2. Wednesday League – Best 12 results from 18 matches
   3. Southwick League – Best 7 results from 10 matches
   4. Weatherby Trophy – Best 3 results from 4 matches
   5. Sultan Summer League – Best 4 results from 5 matches
   6. Sultan Autumn League – Best 4 results from 5 matches
   7. Club Championship – Best 14 results from 20 matches
   8. Aggregate Weight – All to count
2. Any changes to the above will be promulgated by the Committee and Match
