Association Chairman - Cliff Palmer
The overarching role of the Chairman is to provide leadership, be an effective strategist and a good networker. He is responsible for making sure that each meeting is planned effectively, conducted according to the constitution and that matters are dealt with in an orderly, efficient manner. He must also co-ordinate the Committee to ensure that appropriate policies and procedures are in place for the effective management of the organisation. The Chairman is a Trustee.
Association Vice Chairman – Mike Jones-Thompson
The vice-chair stands in for the chair and helps with difficult decisions between meetings. The Vice Chairman should liaise regularly with the Chairman to ensure he knows enough about the current issues within the association to be able to stand in at short notice.
He has particular responsibility for liaising with the respective water managers on matters of planned maintenance and fish stocking. The Vice Chairman is a Trustee and heads the disciplinary committee.

Association Secretary - Chris Holloway
The Secretary is responsible for keeping careful, orderly records of the association’s work. This involves writing the minutes, filing all committee correspondence received and copies of replies sent, in their date order and filing reports received and made. To keep a diary of future activities of the association, and a record of previous activities. The Club Secretary should be the first point of contact for general inquiries. The Secretary is a Trustee and disciplinary committee member.

Association Treasurer - Paul Redstone
The overall role of a treasurer is to maintain an overview of the organisation’s affairs, ensuring its financial viability and ensuring that proper financial records and procedures are maintained. The responsibilities of the treasurer will include: overseeing and presenting budgets, accounts and financial statements; being assured that the financial resources of the organisation meet its present and future needs; the preparation and presentation of financial reports to the committee; advising on the financial implications of the organisation’s strategic plans; when audit is required, ensuring that the accounts are audited in the manner required, and any recommendations of the auditors implemented; and, making a formal presentation of the accounts at the annual general meeting and drawing attention to important points in a coherent and easily understandable way.
The Club Treasurer is Trustee and a disciplinary committee member.
Association Membership Secretary - Paul Fegan
The main role of the Membership Secretary is to maintain a record of all association members. Accept and manage new and renewal memberships ensuring that both new and renewal applications are accompanied with a fully completed application form and/or a fully completed sponsor form and that the correct payment is received with all applications and that these are paid directly to the association bank account in a timely and frequent manner. They will issue all members with a numbered membership card and current Rule Book. The Membership Secretary should respond to all membership enquiries, whilst also acting as the sponsor for all HMS SULTAN Amenity Pass Applications (BPSS). The Membership Secretary is a Trustee. Water Managers

The Water Managers are responsible for maintaining and improving HMS SULTAN Fort Rowner Moat and Southwick Park Lake fish welfare and habitat, water quality, angling pegs, and the area around the water granted to the Association by licence. They inspect club membership and exchange tickets. For this they are supported by Committee appointed Bailiffs who act with the full authority of the Water Managers. The management of the working parties is the responsibility of the Water Managers with particular responsibility for Health and Safety. The Water Managers produce financial plans which are presented to the Committee annually detailing expected maintenance costs, material requirements, fish stocking and other expenses likely to arise in the conduct of their duties.
Match Programme Coordinator - Mike Jones-Thompson
The Match Programme Coordinator is responsible for putting together a Match Programme for the forthcoming season. He is to ensure that there is no conflict between the matches scheduled at HMS SULTAN Fort Rowner Moat and Southwick Lake in consultation with all those running the matches. He is also responsible for planning and organising matches against other clubs as well as those on commercial waters for which he must obtain receipts for all income and payments and present them to the Treasurer.
Exchange Ticket Representative - Mark Dawson
Responsible for maintaining links with other clubs that have exchange ticket relationships and ensure proper handling of the exchange tickets held.
Record Keeper and Trophy Representative - Rob Plested
Maintains appropriate records and produces the list of trophy winners at the end of each season. Liaises with the Webmaster to ensure the various record fish tables are updated after the annual AGM. Arranges for the engraving, issue and return of the Association trophies.
Webmaster - Paul Street
Responsible for the accurate and to date content of the Association web in liaison with the Chairman and members of the committee.
